ABOUT SOURCE ONE INTERNATIONAL

Cloth and Wood Patterns Collage with Red Branch Decoration on Wall

Source One International, Inc. is an Interior Design consulting firm specializing in the selection, specification and purchasing of architectural colors, materials, and furniture.   We offer to Architects, Designers,  Facility Managers and end users expertise in the selection of materials that satisfy technical requirements as well as implement a timeless use of color for a broad range of commercial and residential projects.

Established in 1986, Source One is a woman owned business.  Cecelia Mitchell, Principal and sole owner has been a color and material specialist since 1980 when she worked at Skidmore Owings and Merrill and headed up that firm’s Color and Material Department prior to opening up her firm. Source One has enjoyed long standing relationships with many Chicago area firms and end users and understands the importance of a seamless team approach to every project.

Source One maintains an extensive library of domestic and international building and interior products and services including historical reference material.  Located in a 1905 converted loft in Evanston, Illinois, our library and studio is the most wide-ranging of its kind to service this need.

Our comprehensive library of resources and our knowledge of how to use them is at the heart of the valuable service that satisfies both designer and client.
